What is ASE?

ASE stands for Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.  ASE was founded in 1972 as a non-profit, independent organization dedicated to improving the quality of automotive service and repair through the voluntary testing and certification of automotive technicians. Today, more than 350,000 professionals are ASE certified.

Please note: All facilities that employ full-time service consultants and/or estimators must have at least one who is ASE Certified. Service consultants must have current ASE Service Consultant (C1) certification and estimators must have current Damage Analysis & Estimating (B6) certification.
